Crandall Creek is a Bluegrass band that plays a mix of folk, acoustic country, gospel that is influenced by the Appalachian music based out of Moundsville, WV. The band was started by Moundsville native, Jerry Andrews. Kathy Wigman Lesnock, of West Finley, PA (guitar/shakers/vocals/writer), Dustin Terpenning of Steubenville, OH (mandolin/banjo/vocals), Lilli Gadd of Wheeling, WV (upright bass/vocals) and Heather Wharton (fiddle/vocals) along with Jerry Andrews combine a sound of purity, yet intoxicate the senses with energy coming from the soul. People get excited to hear the tradition mixed with the new, original songs that are written by not just one of them, but all of the band members.
Crandall Creek has opened shows at the Strand Theatre in Moundsville, WV and has had the opportunity to share the stage with some major players in the national Bluegrass scene. These acts have included Donna Ulisse and the Poor Mountain Boys, Volume 5, Alecia Nugent, Alan Bibey, and the up-and-coming Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers.
Since their start, they have played on a variety of stages that have been graced by many big names before them. Crandall Creek has played at the Purple Fiddle in Thomas, WV, Snowshoe Ski Resort in Snowshoe, WV, Ohiopyle House Café in Ohiopyle, PA to name a few. They have also been featured and played live in the studio, on The Donnie Gilbert Show on 1370 WVLY as well as several radio stations throughout the Blueridge.
Crandall Creek cut a self-released project of songs for their table sales, “Goin’ Down Home” a few years ago. Currently, the band caught the attention of producer, singer/songwriter & artists, Valerie Smith, and she is now working with them on their debut release.

A hidden treasure in songwriting and a powerhouse vocalists. Kathy is considered one of the most unique vocalists in the Appalachian mountains. Her sound is pure and honest and of her own, (Vocals, Songwriter, Guitar)
Beyond her years in voice, she is simply amazing and soulful. A recent bass student of Missy Raines, she is well on her way to being a household name in the music industry. (Vocals, Upright Bass, Mandolin)
Dustin is no stranger to the industry, he has travelled with one of the pioneers of traditional bluegrass music, Melvin Goins. Multi-instrumentalists and a history teacher, he adds his style of Bluegrass Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar to Crandall's Creek's sound.
Is one of the most recognizable and respected talents on guitar, was one of Dan Jones' early mentors in music. In addition, he has helped train some of the Ohio Valley's greatest musicians including the one and only Brad Paisley.
Jerry is a veteran to the music industry and has a strong background in country music. Jerry pours his talents into the song arrangements, writing and business details as well. Jerry has paid his dues and offers experience to the sound of the group.

Ellicott City, Maryland
Heather hails from a 30 acre farm in Ellicott City, Maryland and spent a lot of her time growing up surrounded by music, thanks to her parents and a small local bluegrass dive, The Friendly Inn. She began fiddling at the age of 7 and learned how to read music through the public school system in Howard County, Maryland. She attended ETSU and was accepted into the Bluegrass, Old-time and Country Music Program directed by Dan Boner.
Aside from music, She also plays fiddle with The Fly Birds and Old Towne Strings Band.
